Life form: Shrub - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Forms an open, upright shrub to 3m. Branches and foliage are all densely hairy giving the general appearance of teh whole plant being hairy.
Foliage: Long thin leaves are a pale matt green, the underside being covered with a continuous indumentum of hairs.
Flowers: Brick red flowers appear in trusses of 5-12. Griersoniainum has a distinctive long, conical flower bud.
