Flowers: An early blooming bright blood red. Current-red at margins, shading to blood-red in centre, funnel shaped.
History: Raised by C S Seabrook, Washington, USA. Same cross as 'Taurus' but not a sister seedling.
Cultivation information: Tolerant of a range of climates.
Available from rhododendron nurseries in New Zealand.
