Foliage: Attractive elliptic mid green foliage.

Flowers: Good umbel of golden yellow flowers with wavy lobes and slightly darker flare in throat. November flowering.

History: R. 'Gold Mohur' x R. 'Ilam Apricot'. Bred by Dr John Yeates for NZRA at Kimbolton in 1970's. Was originally called 'Kirsty' and has a sister seedling 'Kimbolton Yellow' both at Pukeiti.

Cultivation information: This variety tolerates both colder and warmer climates, prefers partial shade. Available from rhododendron nurseries in New Zealand.
