Rhododendron 'Floral Dance'

Family: Ericaceae (Heath)
Life form: Shrub - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Medium open habit. Grows to 2 m in height.
Foliage: Large bullate dark green glossy leaves, brown scaled below. Young growth with tan hair layer.
Flowers: Large blush white open funnels from pinkish buds with yellow throat. Very frilled lobes and strong scent. 4-6 flowers per umbel.
Cultivation information: Can be prone to rust disease on foliage and will defoliate if severe.
History: Cross made by Mimosa Jury and grown and registered by Felix Jury.
Additional notes: Readily available in New Zealand.
