Comments: Habit: Compact shrub to 1m, spreading.

Foliage: Dark recurved foliage with slight hair layer which is attractive.

Flowers: Umbels of 10-11 flowers, lax, orange in bud opening deep cream with pink flush and spotted orange in upper lobes. November flowering.

History: R. yakushimanum x unamed hybrid. Bred by Waterer (Bagshot) Nurseries, UK in 1970.

Cultivation information: Suitable for growing in a container, available from rhododendron nurseries in New Zealand.
