Comments: Habit: Forms an upright shrub or small tree. The branchlets have both scales and bristles.
Foliage: Oblong-elliptic leaves, 5-10cm long by 2-4.6cm wide. The upper surface is a shiny dark green with bristly margins. The underside is a pale green, densely scaled. The leaf petiole is densely scaly and bristled.
Flowers: Fragrant cream to yellow flowers make up a loose truss of 3-4.
