Foliage: Narrow, eliptic, dark green, attractive silver back and red stems.

Bark: Very rugged.

Flowers: Deep pink, white in centre, tight funnel umbel. Flowers very early, in June and July, and over a long period. Like a pink and white flowered R. arboreum.

History: An old hybrid.
