Life form: Shrub - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Forms a shrub or small tree to 5m.
Foliage: Oblanceolate to obovate leaves that are 10-25cm long by 3-7.5cm broad. The upper surface is dark green and hairless, whilst the underside is covered with a thick woolly, whitish or fawn indumentum.
Flowers: 12-30 campanulate flowers of pink or white which can also have pale green spots.
Further note: This species has a dislike of direct sun, and seems to flower more freely when in shade.
